Adequate height for this heating pad. However, it does not have any way to clasp or close the neck pad. I was disappointed and obviously did not read enough of the description. I do like the blue plaid color that I selected.

Good for readers!

I'm an avid reader but often I get uncomfortable reading on my back so I lay on my side or prop up on my stomach. This works well until I go to move and have a crick in my neck from holding my head at an odd angle! I pop this in the microwave and then lay it across my neck and it really relieves the pain and it stays put while I read in one of my many positions! It's also soft and very comfortable!
